Stephen Graham's 'Comprehending Texts' two-part webinar series
In these two 90 minute sessions we will examine how we can explicitly teach children how to comprehend a wide range of texts. We will examine what makes texts different and the instruction children need to comprehend them. The 3 levels of comprehension will be explored and comprehension mindmaps will be used to show teachers how to make comprehension strategies clear to children.
Webinars 2 and 3 are a two-part series and will take place on Monday 22nd and Monday 29th November from 7 -8.30pm. Combined tickets cost €25.
